Custom Print Capabilities

Your artwork can be placed on the front and back or wrap all the way around the Kanteen. Using the CMYK Digital printer allows you to tap into thousands of colours printed at once. This virtually allows you to print photo like images in a single location or wrapped 360 degrees around the Kanteen.

Artwork: Full-colour (CMYK + varnish). Print the full length of a product (up to 8.6") in a single print cycle. Top-to-Bottom print technology. At the same time, print full-wrap images up to 360° around.

Colours: Brushed Stainless (no paint), select stock colours, approved Klean Coat colours. Custom bottle colours are available at higher quantities. 

Lead Time:
4–6 Weeks after approval. Brushed Stainless and select stock colours (printed in the US).

Your artwork can be placed on the front and back or wrap all the way around the Kanteen. Screen printing yields stunning results for one and two colour artwork and makes the most use of available print space with nearly full wrap capability.

Artwork: Works best with one- or two-colour artwork where tight registration is not needed. Additional colours are available. A vertical break of 8 mm is needed in all artwork.

Colours: Brushed Stainless (no paint), select stock colours, approved Klean Coat colours. Custom bottle colours are available at higher quantities. 

Lead Time:
2–3 Weeks after approval. Brushed Stainless and select stock colours (printed in the US). 15–17 Weeks - approved Klean Coat colours (printed overseas)

Our pad printing process is best for detailed logos or artwork that requires tight registration. Pad printing is done in a square print area on each side and up to five colours on each side.

16 oz / 20 oz Pints & Tumblers: 65 mm x 65 mm front and back
10 oz Cup: 55 mm x 55 mm front, 45 mm x 45 mm back
8 oz Tumbler: 45 mm x 45 mm front, 20 mm x 45 mm back

Lead Time: Brushed stainless and select stock colours - 2–3 weeks (US)

A beautiful and durable marking method, laser marking will last a lifetime. Klean Kanteen offers three types of laser marking, done both here in the United States and overseas:

• Laser engraving - laser is burned into the bamboo cap to create an engraved image.
• Laser annealing - a permanent laser mark on the surface (U.S.)
• Laser paint removal (U.S.)

We prefer artwork to be scalable vector graphics designed in Adobe Illustrator CS3 or later.

We select our ink colours from the Pantone deck. Pantone is the worldwide language for communicating colours. If you’re not familiar with Pantones, simply provide colours using standard colour names, i.e., red, green, etc. You may select custom colours from the Pantone swatches at: pantone.com/color-finder.com
